We are writing to inform you of an update to our sick leave policy, which will be effective as of the 2nd of August. This update aims to ensure that our sick leave policy aligns with best practices and supports the well-being of our employees.
Expanded Paid Sick Leave
We have increased the number of paid sick days allocated per year from 15 to 20.
Documentation Requirements
Employees are now required to provide a doctor's note or proof of illness only if sick leave exceeds 3 days.
Family Care
Paid time off is now available for employees to care for sick or injured family members, including spouses, children, parents, and domestic partners.
Communication Process
Notify your supervisor as soon as possible when taking sick leave, and maintain regular communication regarding progress and expected return to work date for extended leaves.
