Kids Foundation provides one-time funding for the urgent, unmet needs of children in our community, birth through age 20, who have fallen through the cracks of existing agencies and charitable organizations.
 

Our Shared Vision

Provide or align resources to help every child thrive. The Foundation serves as a safety net for children who have “fallen through the cracks” of existing agencies and charitable organizations. Through a network of community service providers and contacts, we look for those children who have a genuine need, but do not qualify for assistance from other resources. We help those kids no one else does.
 

Examples

We have provided the funding for medical consultations, psychological counseling, prescriptions, and eyeglasses. We have funded dental care, computers, summer school, and hearing tests.
 

Problem

Kids Foundation provides one-time funding for the urgent, unmet needs of children in our community, birth through age 20, who have fallen through the cracks of existing agencies and charitable organizations.
 

Solution

For many of our children, the outcome is immediate: a new bed when they have been sleeping on the floor; lessons that include dance, music or gymnastics to build self-worth which heals emotional wounds; a laptop that allows a student to keep up with school so they can graduate and not fall farther behind; going to the dentist for the first time because they’re in pain; or being able to play sports because we paid the fees on their behalf so they can enjoy at least one positive experience in their life.
 

Objectives

The objectives of this project are as follows:

  • To identify children in need who are not eligible for other assistance and have "fallen through the cracks".
  • Encouraged abandoned and orphaned children to discover their potential and skills through enrollment in academic and vocational education.
 

Benefits
